Inflicting Ink Tattoo was built in 1995 by renowned Tattoo Artist Jeff Goyette. He took great pride in building his studio so everyone who walks through the door is comfortable and confident that this was the right choice. Jeff’s goal was not only to deliver the best tattoo or piercing at a fair price, but to also educate each one of his customers. He and the Inflicting Ink artists instruct clients on what to look for in a tattoo parlor and artist, they explain about the placement of a tattoo, the after care of the skin, and discuss how a tattoo ages. By being frank and honest with customers, hiring and teaching the most talented tattoo artists and apprentices who excel in all types of tattooing, Inflicting Ink has enjoyed a reputation as one the Best Tattoo Parlors in New England for over 15 years.
Jeff, intrigued by this art form for many years, entered the industry in 1989. He was apprenticed by one of the leading tattoo artists in the world and shortly there after joined the Tattoo Convention Circuit. After traveling in the circuit for many years, he wanted to take all he had learned and turn it into a permanent parlor, hence the creation of Inflicting Ink Tattoo Studio. Since then Jeff has made his own mark in the industry winning major awards for his realistic-style of tattooing at National and International conventions. He boasts awards such as 1st Place Fine Line Tattooing at The Dennis Dwyer National Tattoo Convention, as well as many other awards including 1st Place awards for Portrait-Style, Black & Gray, The Mad Hatter’s Award for Realistic-Style Tattooing, and Black Tribal Tattooing.

Jeff Goyette has been a licensed - professional tattoo artist for over 20 years. He is certified in CPR and Blood Born Pathogens. Jeff has been a member of the Alliance of Professional Tattooist since 1995. He is a certified cosmetic tattooist and has worked closely with dermatologists and plastic surgeons to cover burns or surgical scars, post mastectomy breast reconstruction and/or breast augmentation.
In July of 1997, out of 200+ licensed tattoo studios in the state of Rhode Island, Inflicting Ink and Jeff was recognized by the Rhode Island Department of Health for his state-of-the-art tattoo studio and he was asked by The Department of Facilities Regulation to assist the state with the rewrite of the tattoo regulations for tattooists and tattoo studios. We regularly handle clients from all over New England especially Massachusetts Tattoo clients.
In the Spring of 2011 Jeff, after years of searching for a solution for the many clients that come in looking to fix or cover-up un-fixable tattoo's, has finally found the solution for Laser Tattoo Removal! This 78-foot, 12-wheel facility, is an awe-inspiring vehicle outfitted with three tattoo stations worked by driven, world-class tattoo artists. This rolling steel studio for hire is traveling from state-to-state, venue-to-venue, individual private function to the largest events tattooing across the nation.
